How does centquiz work?
When you play the quiz, for every correct answer one cent will be given to charity. You simply chose the donation target and play. The money generated from advertising pays for the donation.
How difficult is the quiz?
The quiz is divided into 10 levels, with 10 the hardest. When you answer a question correctly you move up one level. If you answer correctly whilst on level 10 you remain on that level. Every time you answer incorrectly you move down one level. If you answer incorrectly on level 1 you remain on that level until you get a correct answer. The quiz is therefore designed to challenge people of all abilities.
How many questions are there?
There are thousands of questions in our database, all of which have been checked and verified by experts. Our database grows all the time as researches find new questions to keep you on your toes!
What type of questions do you have?
Our questions are made up of a variety of different topics related to Islam including: Art and Architecture, Arabic, History, Quran, Hadith, Seerah (life of the Prophet Muhammad), and more. We welcome any suggestions for new topics.
What happens if I close the browser or my computer suddenly loses power?
Every time you answer a question correctly one cent get registered on our server, so if you decide to leave the website or the power to your computer cuts off, your donation will still count.
Does centquiz take a share of the profit?
No. All the money made from this website goes directly to charity.

Who distributes the money?
The money you raise is divided between our three partner charities: Islamic Relief, Muslim Aid and Ummah Welfare Trust. These charities use the money according to how you have decided in the 'chose donation target' box. So, for example, if you chose 'emergency relief' and you raised 37 cents, then that money will go to the charities who will use it for emergency relief only.
How do I change my donation target?
Once you have chosen a donation target, the money raised will go to that cause. If you wish to change the donation target, click on the centquiz logo and start again.
Can I use zakaat money to pay for an advert?
Centquiz does not accept zakaat money. If you wish to give zakaat, please do so by contacting any of our partner charities. Their details can be found on the 'Our Charities' page.
